Who can use the TARC?
Students, Faculty, Staff
The TARC is open and free to all Carthage students, faculty, and staff. Just bring your Carthage ID for access to the building. There are locker rooms located on the lower level of the TARC.
Don’t stop working out in the TARC just because you’ve graduated! The facility is open to alumni with a Carthage Alumni ID. Don’t have an ID? Request a Carthage Alumni ID online through our Alumni website.
Community Members: Family Fun Night
The TARC opens to families in our community on most Friday evenings during the academic year, as part of Carthage’s award-winning Family Fun Night programming. For a $1 donation for the Kenosha Boys & Girls Club, families can swim in the pool, play basketball or racquetball, or use the fitness center. Please note: Activities vary from week to week, because of Carthage College athletic events and other special activities. Please call the TARC before heading to campus. You can also sign up for our Family Fun Night newsletter. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 18 must have an adult directly supervising in the Semler Fitness Center.
Businesses and organizations often bring their meetings and conferences to Carthage. To learn more about holding your next event at the TARC, visit Conferences Services.
There are two parking lots near the TARC: Lot A and Lot I. Visitor spots are available. See campus map
