Christian will be traveling to elementary schools across the country to perform in theatre productions for young audiences. At Carthage, Christian was a recipient of several scholarships, including the top-tier Merit scholarship and separate scholarships from both the music and theatre departments. I was honored with Outstanding Theatre Freshman my freshman year, and Best Supporting Actor my senior year. I graduated Magna Cum Laude.
What have you enjoyed most about your career?
Well, I have only just begun to audition and perform professionally, but I already enjoy getting to work and collaborate with new faces and bring theatre to people all over.
How did Carthage prepare you?
I was a part of Carthage’s music and theater programs, which are full of professors who train exceptionally well for the professional world, and helped me to be confident in my skill when I walk into an audition.
Tips for current Carthage students:
Your experience is only what you make of it. You have complete control of your opportunities and motivation. Don’t waste it. Be your best every day, and work as hard as you can, and your commitment is what will make your success.
Favorite Carthage memories:
My best memories were with my friends when the day was done. I made friendships here that I am proud to say will last for the rest of my life, and it’s those people that I chose to spend my time with that have helped shape me as a person.
