As Director of Employer Relations and Internships at Carthage, Carolyn Serdar connects employers locally and internationally with students for outstanding experiential learning opportunities. Prior to Carthage, she’s served in various career specialist and service learning positions for several college including: College of Lake County, University of Kentucky, and Lewis University. Most recently, Carolyn developed the Internship program at the College of Lake County, where she connected hundreds of students to internships throughout the country. Carolyn’s experience includes administering Career Assessments, working with students on Career Development topics, as well as developing programs connecting employers and students for successful job and internship placements.
Carolyn holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theater, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, and an Education Specialist in Counseling degree.
