Originally from Birmingham, Alabama, Joseph received his bachelor’s degree in human development and family studies from the University of Montevallo and his master’s degree in counseling with an emphasis in student affairs from University of Mary.
Before taking on his role with the Carthage advising staff, Joseph worked as an academic advisor for first-generation students as part of the TRIO-Student Support Services program at University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota. He joined the Carthage staff in 2016.
