This fall, Carthage will continue our annual tradition of taking a long weekend trip to Stratford, Ontario, Canada to see plays at the world-class Stratford Theatre Festival.

Any Carthage student, graduate, staff member, or faculty member interested in literature and drama should consider joining us for this extraordinary experience! This year’s festival is Thursday, Sept. 26 through Saturday, Sept. 28.

The plays this year are:

  • “Twelfth Night”
  • “Something Rotten”
  • “Hedda Gabler”
  • “Cymbeline”
  • A choice of “Romeo and Juliet” or “Get That Hope”
  • A choice of “London Assurance” or “La Cage Aux Folles”

All Carthage students are eligible for Stratford scholarships and should keep an eye out for announcements about the application process. Winner(s) will receive cash toward the cost of the Stratford Festival trip, including bus fare, hotel room, and theatre tickets.
