A beloved tradition at Carthage is when faculty and staff get together to help our students get ready for finals — by serving them a delicious breakfast late in the evening!

As always, the Late Night Breakfast will be held the night before final exams begin. This term, that’s Tuesday, Dec. 19. We ask volunteers to arrive at 9 p.m. Students have two seatings — 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. Tasks range from working behind the counters and serving food to helping bus tables and emptying garbage cans. Sodexo will have a full complement of workers there to do the cooking, so there’s no need to worry about that!

We do need volunteers! Member of the faculty, this is a great opportunity to wish your students well during finals. Staff members — including administrative, coaching, and support — we know many of these students, so it’s an equal opportunity to give them a morale booster. The only real question is whether the students will have more fun than you will!

Please sign up to volunteer at the Late Night Breakfast. We’ll see you Dec. 19!
