Professor Wael Farouk’s portrait featured on wall at Manhattan School of Music
The Manhattan School of Music recently added a portrait of Carthage music professor Wael Farouk to a wall of distinguished graduates in its Mikowsky Recital Hall.
He is featured alongside School of Music colleagues and classmates Kiril Gerstein, a recent recipient of the prestigious Gilmore Award and the Avery Fisher Award, and Simone Dinnerstein (who will perform at Carthage in February). Others featured on the wall are winners of the Rubinstein, Tchaikovsky, Chopin, and Cliburn competitions.
Prof. Farouk earned a professional studies diploma from the school.
