Professor Douglas Arion
All Stories

Douglas Arion, professor of entrepreneurship and of physics and astronomy, recently conducted a series of talks and workshops at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Massachusetts.

As part of the PIPELINE consortium, a National Science Foundation-funded program to promote innovation and entrepreneurship in the sciences, especially physics, these presentations are aimed to transform undergraduate experiences to better prepare them for 21st century careers. Central to the process is professional development for faculty, many of whom have not had experience in the industrial, commercial, and service industries which hire the vast majority of science graduates.
