The Carthage residence halls and apartments will close to all students at 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17 for Thanksgiving Break. All students must be out of Carthage housing at that time unless they have applied for, and been given specific permission by the Office of Residential Life.

The halls and apartments will reopen at noon on Sunday, Nov. 26. Students with extenuating circumstances or involvements that may require extended stay needed to add their name to the extended stay list earlier this week. If you have any questions about the extended stay list, please contact Jessie Bingaman or the Division of Student Affairs.

If you were approved to stay, there is a $25 per night fee for students to stay on campus past 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17. No guests are allowed. This includes other Carthage students. All College policies are in effect when the halls are closed. Violations of any College policies including the aforementioned guest policy, may result in immediate revocation of permission to stay on campus.

All College services and buildings are limited when the halls close. Food services and mail services are among the services that are limited or unavailable.

If you are unable to leave by 6 p.m., but do not plan to stay overnight, please contact your Residential Life Pro-Staff Member directly.
