‘Help Yourself!’: Adding Bridge events to your Google Calendar
“Help yourself!” Starting this week, Library and Information Services will provide weekly tech, media, and research tips aimed at making everyone a veritable expert in our standard campus resources.
This week’s topic is how to add events from the Bridge onto your Google Calendar in three simple clicks.
- First, find the event on the Bridge Calendar of Events that you are interested in and click on it.
- Below the description of the event, click on the Add to my Calendar button.
- From the drop-down, click Google Calendar. When the Google Calendar event opens, modify as desired and click Save. This will add the event ONLY to your own Google Calendar, and if the event itself changes, it will not be updated in your calendar. It will fill in the date, location, and details so your calendar can remind you. Easy-peasy!
