Accounting majors: The Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants (WICPA) will host a panel discussion with CPAs from Kenosha and Racine from 11:50 to 12:50 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23 in the Sladek Distinguished Science Forum (room 163) of the David A. Straz Jr. Center for the Natural and Social Sciences. Lunch will be sponsored by the WICPA.
The Wisconsin Institute of Certified Public Accountants is the premier association for accounting and business professionals.The WICPA will be hosting a panel discussion to help prepare accounting students for a professional career as an Accountant. Discussion topics include: how to prepare and pass the CPA exam, transitioning from student to working professional, career paths, and more.
Carol Rybek, WICPA Academic & Student Awareness Coordinator, will discuss the benefits of student membership in the professional organization.
