The Racine Music Teachers Association’s Annual Piano Competition

Location: A. F. Siebert Chapel and recital hall in the H. F. Johnson Center for the Fine Arts

The Racine Music Teachers Association will hold its annual piano competition from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, January 20 in the A. F. Siebert Chapel and in the recital hall at the H. F. Johnson Center for the Fine Arts.

The competition invites young pianists to compete with a composition to be performed by memory for expert judges. Competitors are divided into a Junior Division (grades six through eight) and a senior division (grades nine through twelve). Winners will receive a cash prize, a commemorative medal, and the chance to perform in an honors recital.

This event is not open to the public.
