Family Fun Night: Fun with STEAM!

Time: 6:00pm - 7:30pm CST November 17

Location: Hedberg Library

Join us for Family Fun Night on Friday, Nov. 17!

Do you love math, science, technology, art or engineering? Want to learn more about just how interesting these topics can be? Do you want to know how interesting these tops can be? If so, join the Family Fun Night crew and the Kenosha Public library for a night full of interactive learning including balance and marble runs, robotics, circuits, coding, and much much more. Don’t forget to bring your thinking caps! 

Themed events are held from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Hedberg Library.

For this Family Fun Night, the field house will be open from 7 to 9 p.m. (The pool will be closed.) 

The N.E. Tarble Athletic and Recreation Center is available on most Family Fun Nights for a $1 donation to the Kenosha Boys & Girls Club. Activities may vary. Basketballs, ping pong and racquetball materials are available for use.

A men’s basketball tournament will take place on Friday in Tarble Arena. Games begin at 6 p.m. The Red Men take on Rockford at 8 p.m. Admission to the tournament is $6 for adults and $4 for children and senior citizens.

Please note that all children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult and directly supervised at all times.

About Family Fun Night

Carthage hosts Family Fun Nights on select Friday evenings during the school year. Families can enjoy fun and educational activities in Hedberg Library, browse the collection in the Center for Children’s Literature, and use the library computers. Facilities in the N. E. Tarble Athletic & Recreation Center may also be available for family use.
