Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, Featuring the Carthage Choir will perform Beethoven’s “Mass in C Major” at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 14 in the A. F. Siebert Chapel.
The Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, in collaboration with Carthage Choir and Tremper High School choir students, will perform Beethoven’s “Mass in C Major”. The Kenosha Symphony Orchestra has worked to be a source of high quality music in the community since 1940. As an important resource of both cultural and educational opportunities, Kenosha Symphony Orchestra strives to maintain support for and foster a love of the arts throughout the community.
The orchestra is conducted by Dr. Robert G. Hasty, who also serves as the organization’s music director. In addition to his work with Kenosha Symphony Orchestra, Dr. Hasty is the conductor of the Chamber Orchestra and Philharmonic at the Henry and Leigh Bienen School of Music at Northwestern University, as well as the artistic director of the orchestra division of the International Schools of Choral Music Society. The concert connects musicians of all ages by bringing high school, collegiate, and professional performers together on one stage.
