Join us in celebrating Carthage Giving Day on Friday, April 7, 2017! We’re marking the occasion with special events on campus and around the country. You’re invited!

On Campus

If 1,847 gifts are made on 4/7, members of the Carthage Board of Trustees will give $200,000 to Carthage. These Carthage College socks will be given to students who make a gift to Carthage on Giving Day 2017.The first 200 students to make a gift will receive special Carthage socks!

Team Trivia Challenge with President Woodward
11:30 a.m., Campbell Student Union
Join Carthage athletic teams in a trivia and activity challenge competition for bragging rights with President Woodward and Carthage Trustee David Wiers ’98.

Enjoy performances by talented students and faculty, take selfies with Torchie, grab some Carthage swag, and snag a few treats. The Union will have everything you could want on Giving Day. Featuring:

Yes, you read that right. Hop on a giant mechanical cheeseburger to celebrate Giving Day and win prizes.

On the Red Carpet
4:30 p.m., Campbell Student Union
Walk the red carpet to a photo area and grab a quick snack from the mac and cheese or ice cream sundae bars. Hop on the mechanical cheeseburger for the chance to win prizes.

Men’s Volleyball Game
7 p.m., TARC
Come support the Red Men in their game against Dominican University. The first 20 students in attendance will get a free T-shirt! Wear red!

WOH! We’re Seniors! Event
7 p.m., WOH’s Place
The Senior Class Gift Committee is hosting a night of trivia and fun exclusively for our seniors. Plan your travel accordingly due to the nature of the beverages being served.


Celebrate Carthage Giving Day 2017!

Carthage alumni across the country are invited to celebrate Carthage Giving Day at special events in various cities on April 7. Cost to attend is just $10, and your ticket includes a complimentary drink, appetizers, and a $5 gift to the Carthage Fund. Attending an event means you’re making a Giving Day gift, and your gift will be counted toward our goal of 1,847 donors.
