A guiding principle at Carthage is thoughtful and careful stewardship and recognition of our benefactors to whom we are so deeply grateful. Therefore we proudly acknowledge all gifts to the College and the donors who provide them in a number of ways.

The Enduring Gift Society
The Enduring Gift Society recognizes benefactors whose contributions received by the College total $100,000 or more, including funds donated through estates. There are four levels in the Enduring Gift Society:
- Platinum — $5 million or above
- Gold — $1 million to $4,999,999
- Silver — $500,000-$999,999
- Bronze — $100,000-$499,999
The following recognition clubs are based on annual giving — gifts that are given during a single fiscal year.
The Leadership Circle
Carthage’s Leadership Circle acknowledges the vision and confidence shown by individuals who give substantial annual gifts to Carthage. An annual gift of $1,000 or more automatically qualifies the giver for membership in the Leadership Circle. Such givers understand how crucial private support is to the continued vitality of the College. Giving at a higher level provides Carthage with the extra resources necessary for students, faculty and staff to create a superlative learning experience.
- Executive Club — $25,000 and above
- Trustees Club — $10,000-$24,999
- Carthage Club — $5,000-$9,999
- Flame Club — $2,500-$4,999
- Legacy Club — $1,000-$2,499
Additional Recognition Clubs
Carthage values donations at any level. That is why we have additional recognition clubs for those donors who wish to give consistently at a level that fits their budget:
- Dean’s Club — $500-999
- Heritage Club — $250-499
- Century Club — $100-249
- Carthaginian Club — $1-99
The Henry Denhart Society
Chartered in 1992, in the spirit of the longtime Carthage Trustee, the Henry Denhart Society recognizes individuals who provide for the College through estate plans and a variety of planned gifts. These charitable contributions help ensure the strength and quality of generations to come.

Mark your place in Carthage history. Granite walkways paved with commemorative bricks lead to sidewalks that connect the entire Carthage campus. Names of alumni and friends of the College are etched in sections of these attractive walkways. Read more.
Student Recognition of Donors
Every donor will receive a handwritten thank you note from a Carthage student; this is the goal every year. Students express their appreciation for those who give to the College in various ways, especially on designated days such as #GivingTuesday and Thank-a-Carthaginian Day.
