For decades Carthage has been a center for the performing arts and an integral part of the southeastern Wisconsin community. Our campus is home to an exhilarating variety of arts performances and exhibitions. From theatre and dance to music and visual and graphic art, we offer high-quality programming from our students, faculty, and internationally renowned guest artists.
Whether you’re here for one of our beloved traditions, such as the Christmas Festival, or to see a new artist in our H. F. Johnson Gallery of Art, we know that your experience will be exceptional.
Among the highlights of the season are the launch of The Brahms Project featuring our new piano faculty member, Wael Farouk, and the Carthage Faculty Trio. You’re also sure to be moved by our New Play Initiative commission from Golden Globe winner Regina Taylor, which focuses on the astonishing journey of Fannie Lou Hamer from abject poverty to civil rights activist.
