Carthage offers a Bachelor of Arts in the following majors in the 7-week format:

Value

Although the value of earning a bachelor’s degree cannot be summed up in percentage points or statistics, here are a few that might catch your attention:

  • In 2015, young adults with a bachelor’s degree earned 64% more per year than those workers with only a high school diploma ($50,000 per year compared to $30,500).
  • In 2015, young adults with a bachelor’s degree earned 36% more per year than young adults with an associate’s degree ($50,000 per year compared to $36,900).
  • People with a bachelor’s degree earn $2.3 million over their working lifetime, compared to $1.7 million earned by those with an associate’s degree, and $1.3 million by those with a high school diploma.

Flexible

7-Week, Evening-based Format

Carthage offers an evening undergraduate studies program tailored to the unique needs of adult learners. Classes are offered in an accelerated seven-week format, which means courses are delivered in an innovative “hybrid” design, combining face-to-face class sessions with online learning opportunities. This accelerated format provides flexibility for busy adults, professionals, and returning students.

Start Any Time

Carthage offers a year-round academic calendar (fall, winter, spring, and summer terms). Students can begin classes at seven entry points each year.

Personalized

Personalized Academic Plan

Work closely with a dedicated advisor to map out a personal academic plan right from the start. See when courses are offered, the recommended sequence of courses, and your path to graduation. We understand that sometimes life events interfere with your plan, so don’t worry; flexibility is built into the plan to get you back on track to completion.

Expert Faculty

At Carthage, you will work with and learn from expert professors who recognize the unique needs of adult learners. Our professors are caring, accessible outside of the classroom, and dedicated to the success of each student.

Transfer Credits

Transfer students receive credits for appropriate courses taken at other institutions. You will work closely with your dedicated advisor to review transfer credits and incorporate them into your personal academic plan.
