Community engagement is more than a line in our mission statement. Service is an integral part of living and learning at Carthage.

Volunteers — students, faculty, and staff performing service with a group or as individuals.

Community-based work-study employees — students working at local non-profits, paid by Carthage.

Service-learners — students perform service as an integrated piece of their coursework.

Professional, academic, and institutional resources — faculty and staff providing expertise and resources.
