Carthage holds second annual Giving Day April 7
Calling all Carthaginians! Carthage will hold its second Giving Day on Friday, April 7. This year, the stakes have been raised! If we reach our goal of 1,847 donors, members of the Carthage Board of Trustees will together give an additional $200,000 to Carthage.
Record-breaking gift supports career preparation at Carthage
Longtime Carthage College benefactor Jan Tarble has donated $15 million — the largest single gift in Carthage’s history — to fund a distinctive career and welcome center that will equip graduates to thrive in a rapidly changing workforce.
Your donations at work: Pals and Partners student organization
With a strong 25-year history, Pals and Partners is Carthage’s oldest student organization. The group excels at ensuring that young children in Kenosha understand the value of a college education.
New grant provides even more internship opportunities
Thanks to a grant worth nearly $350,000, Carthage continues to provide new internship opportunities to students. Through the Career Ready Internship Grant from the Great Lakes Higher Education Guaranty Corporation, Carthage will place students in paid internships with businesses and nonprofits throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
Carthage launches public phase of $35 million fundraising campaign

Carthage has launched the public phase of a $35 million fundraising campaign to position the College as a regional and national model. The Campaign for Carthage will enhance student research experiences through the newly opened Science Center, establish a legacy of support through endowed scholarships, encourage experiential learning via internships and study abroad, and support the Carthage Fund, providing the flexibility to meet the rapidly evolving needs of the College.
Carthage’s new $43 million science center now open

Carthage’s brand new science center officially opened for classes on Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015. The new center offers even greater opportunity for innovative science education, and further advances the College’s commitment to exceptional research experiences for undergraduates.

Tarble foundation gives $10 million toward Carthage science center

Carthage has received the second-largest gift in its history. The $10 million contribution from the Tarble Family Foundation of Los Angeles supports the creation of the new East Wing in the David A. Straz, Jr. Center for the Natural and Social Sciences. This latest gift brings the Tarble family’s total contribution to Carthage to almost $40 million.
