Please join us for the final concert for the Creative Improvisation class! The concert will be held at 9 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 in the recital hall at the H. F. Johnson Center for the Fine Arts.

The concert features collaborations and solo performances in a variety of genres between both students and professors. From original works to folk rock and Broadway hits, this concert is presented as a culmination of Social Psychology of Creative Expression, led by Professor Robert Maleske and Professor Stephen Lyng. Using texts exploring what creativity is and how individuals can improve their artistry, students worked together to learn about the twelve bar blues and find new and interesting ways to create and collaborate. The product is a delightfully diverse program of music you won’t want to miss!

This event is free and open to the public.
